Hello Readers,

Today is Oreo's 100th Anniversary. The company has made many types of oreos some which include: Oreo Cakesters, Oreo Fudge Rings, Cool Mint Oreo's and atleast a dozen more.

I decided to give you one of my favorite oreo recipe.

Ingredients:

1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 18 oz. package of Oreo cookies, crushed with filling
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp shortening

1.Mix cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy.  Add the crushed Oreos and beat on high until well mixed.

2. Chill for at least 2 hours in the freezer. Then roll Oreo cookie mix into one inch Oreo Balls.

3. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening with a double boiler over stovetop.

4. Dip the Oreo balls completely into the melted chocolate using tongs or a toothpick. Place on wax paper. Chill and serve.

They are absolutely fantastic. I got this recipe from my aunt and her daughters. SO GOOD!

Please tell me if you have the chance to make these delectable little treats.
