Truth Behind Black Friday

With my second post for the night, I was inspired by the Black Friday gift-o-meter. Black Friday has gotten its fame for the incredibly low prices on items everyone either desires or are in need of, nut truth is, Black Friday might not save you as much money as you think.

Have you ever been to a store a month prior to Thanksgiving? During Halloween sales, vendors take the opportunity to higher prices. Right after Halloween discounts disappear, the "original" budgets are brought back, but these prices are actually raised twenty to thirty percent higher.

So, when Thanksgiving rolls around, they lower the prices to their actual price. That makes you think that prices were lowered immensely, when really you might just be wasting money than you would when buying regularly.

Now you know, so keep in mind when buying, to avoid getting your money taken right out of your wallet.

xoxo♥
