Well, actually, the word verification does nothing except discourage people from posting. It takes a long time to do. A lot of people don't even care about the award. All of the popular blogs have that feature turned off.
i think that the competitions should be invented every week or 2 so that the followers would wont to sign in cause prizes are included and while their in they will check out your other stuff . And competions should not take long to last . thanks for hearing me :)
You would encourage comments by taking off word verification.
