Christmas Calendar?

The price for this item is definitively a glitch, but I think this item might be coming from the Christmas Calendar, don't you think? I was looking around and trying to search if Stardoll already released the calendar, but no luck. I guess it might be release tomorrow (:

HB is out!

OMG such a cheap price. You should buy it this skirt, it's so cheap and it's a HB! I don't like the circle designs on it, but this is a definitively buy it now kind of thing. I never thought I would say this for a HB lol What do you guys think?

The Fame Game on Stardoll: When things turn ugly

In the Stardoll of today, the Stardoll we know and love, The Fame Game is at an all time high - spamming, back-stabbing and hacking is considered normal. More focus is on achieving 'Elite status' than ever before. So, are some people on Stardoll for all the wrong reasons? I'm going to be looking back on the bullying, the back-stabbing and the most notorious incidents in the history of Stardoll.


The summer-muffin and fame.Lady.GaGa. case

This wasn't a very well-known case, but I thought it was important to include it. summer-muffin (no longer a member of Stardoll) was a very famous Lady Gaga look-a-like. However, when summer-muffin made a comment towards fame.Lady.GaGa., insinuating she was copying her outfits, all hell broke loose. summer-muffin's army of fans took it upon themselves to bombard fame.Lady.GaGa. with hate comments, telling her to leave Stardoll and never come back. Of course, fame.Lady.GaGa. was horrified and didn't go on her account for months, trying to get away from the bullies. The sad thing was that summer-muffin only made a few mildly rude comments, but her fans completely ambushed fame.Lady.GaGa. with hate, and summer-muffin got blamed. I witnessed this event, and what was said was utterly horrible. I was friends with both summer-muffin and fame.Lady.GaGa. at the time, and it was an awful time for them both. Now, years on from the incident, fame.Lady.GaGa. is back to herself, but sadly the same cannot be said for summer-muffin as her account was hacked. summer-muffin states on her facebook page that she plans on returning to Stardoll soon.


The lavenderluva case


This case upsets me, as it affected lavenderluva outside of the world of Stardoll. However, I still find what she did was silly and I cannot possibly condone it. This was a hugely famous story throughout the Stardoll community.  It all took place outside of Stardoll, as it happens, on TinyChat. I have always disliked this website and never plan on using it. I just find webcam-ing to complete strangers very creepy. Either way, lavenderluva went on this site and was said to have 'stripped' in front of the webcam. When questioned by the police, lavenderluva said that she had removed her dress because she felt hot, and had forgotten she was on film. This was witnessed by fellow Original Club members and a few random people who were not associated with Stardoll. This ended up with lavenderluva's account being deleted and Original Club getting deleted too. What is the case now? Original Club is still closed (although hardcore OC fans have created fake clubs to gather in for now) and lavenderluva is currently on Stardoll under a different account whose name I will not include to protect her privacy. 


The tylerisbold case


tylerisbold is a Starblogger. He has climbed to perhaps the highest rung on the 'Elite' ladder by becoming one. His posts mostly consist of posting about 'viral videos'. The drama with him seems as though it doesn't stop. tylerisbold (originally called tylerisbomb) labels himself as Elite. In one nonsensical blog post he said 'I am not elite. I am elite.' I do not want to seem as though I am hating on him, but tylerisbold is everything I dislike about self-proclaimed 'Elites'. He has been in multiple fights with various users, hitting the Stardoll headlines for all the wrong reasons. It is sad that somebody who is supposed to be looked up to by Stardoll society is so notorious.


So, to conclude, I think people nowadays are too interested in being the best of the best. What happened to the innocent site on which we all used to dress up dollies and get along?

"Hottest" Designs

So called hottest designs have been lacking in being unique, and some have been lacking just being pretty.

Number two is just plain ugly, as well as number 6.

Those type of designs can be made in a matter of seconds, without any effort at all which leaves me wondering how the hell did they get picked in hottest designs.

When you click on contests and events, then hottest designs, an area with you voting for designs appears.

Right now I'm getting curious about how you vote for designs, do you just click at random to earn your starcoins?

Or do you take your time and look for a design you actually think is creative and nice?

New Blogger + Fabulous MeDolls!

Hi guys! I'm a new writer for this fabulous blog. My name is Evie, and my username on Stardoll is Cheryle33. I am the head of cheryle33stardoll.wordpress.com and I have a passion for fashion, makeup and writing. 


But let's get down to business!


I love surfing through Stardoll, browsing all the cute, creepy and couture MeDolls out there! Here are a few I've come across that I adore.


My first kawaii medoll is the fabulous Tiara243 - a cute fashionista from Japan.

Why it works: Tiara243's medoll perfectly reflects the bright, lolita style displayed by Harajuku girls. It's creative, kooky, and kind of pick 'n' mix. Also, those manga eyes make me coo with admiration! Such a cute look over all.

My next fabulous medoll is aura2241, the Russian Queen of creepiness! 

Why it works: The wild, tousled hair, the flowing dark gown, the blue-tinted faux fur jacket - this is gothic glam at its best! Aura's sense of style is fabulously dark, and if you want inspiration for your next Halloween look, browse through Aura's photos - it's a catalogue of beautifully executed outfits that any gothic fashionista would kill for!

Barbie Dolls

Again, I'm sorry, but they haven't fixed the uploading pictures problem and all I can upload are the pictures that I currently have on the blog. So, I just noticed that stardoll released a set of Barbie dolls that you can purchase with the whole outfit included for only 20sds! I don't think I will, since I won't know what to do with them. You can purchase them at the starplaza, they're at the featured section. What do you guys think, will you buy one?

I am 13 years old and live in England, I go on Stardoll every day and read many Stardoll blogs, so I am very happy to be writing for this one, as it is one of the first blogs I started following. So, the new Chanel Store was released last night or early this morning but dissapeared after a couple of hours, I think because of Glitches when people bought them, but now, I am pleased to say the store is back! There are some very nice items, so I would buy something if you can afford to :]

New Channel Line

The clothes look okay and I think the prices are fair, since this is a high end brand(: I like that they brought back the braids that use to be sold for a lot of money, so, now everyone will be able to afford them. What do you guys think?

Danish Designer - Camilla Salgaard

Hello, my name is Ashley and I’m a new writer here on the2glams. I will be looking at Danish and Scandinavian designers.

My first choice is Camilla Salgaard, who is a brilliant Danish designer. She graduated from Birmingham Institute of Arts and Design in 2010.
Her designs are feminine and tailored to the female body’s structured and gracefull. Camilla plays with shapes and volume of her design style, which makes the clothes look beautiful and modern on a woman's body.Each of her designs are created with the aim to fit the female body, so you feel pretty and feminine.


Camilla Salgaard says of her own design: "... I think that my clothes rest in their own creative personality and radiate a natural soul. The look is strong and charismatic "..

I personally like the shapes, the soft round bulky forms, which is expressed in her designs. It is a play with the visual and mathematical, which means that you can talk about intelligent design in the sense that the forms are so finely adapted to woman's silhouette and therefore are wide ranging. It is also ultra-feminine, which means you can use her styles as complete sets or as individual elements with other styles.
